Our Pledge
We pledge to always do our best to get our rescued pets back into responsible and loving homes. To accomplish this, we request that potential pet adoptees fill out an adoption form so that they may be screened. All pets released by our organization will be spayed or neutered, micro chipped, vaccinated, and vet checked. The adoption fee of $100.00 for cats and $150.00 for dogs is to cover these expenses and is a bona fide bargain. Most spay/neutering would cost at least twice that alone. Please feel free to donate more than the suggested amount to enable our work to continue.

Cats
All of the cats shown on our web pages are readily adoptable and have been or will go through the process of being vet checked, vaccinated, spay/neutered and micro chipped. Those who wish to adopt must complete an interview process and apply for adoption. If the adoption is approved we require the signing of an adoption contract and an adoption fee to cover the cost of preparing the cat for adoption. The adoption fee for cats is $100 and will go to the society to continue to support our rescue efforts.
Dogs
Many of the dogs on our web pages but not all are impounded since our ability to foster and house them is extremely limited due to lack of foster care at this time. Until we can gain space or more volunteers to foster them they are held at the pound until an adopter is found. We will then run the dog through the process of spay/neuter and microchipping. It is against Illinois State Law to adopt an animal from a municipal pound that has not been spay/neutered, microchipped, and gotten rabies shots, please don't do it. You can apply for an adoption through us and we will make sure that your potential pet is completely checked, disease free and safe for your family. If you are interested in a dog contact us quickly. Due to limited space at the pound the dogs must be moved in short order to eliminate overcrowding. For this reason we rely on sending many of the dogs off to other rescue groups who live in areas with a need for pets and can more readily see to it that they are found a home in a reasonable period of time. The adoption fee for dogs adopted through us is $150. This adoption fees includes spay/neuter, microchipping, vet checking, and rabies shots.
